Basketball - Residential/Fixed SPORT

The Sport series from First Team brings home professional-style basketball action at an amateur's price. The 4" x 4" post is made from 11 ga. steel, which makes it the heaviest of its kind in the industry. The angled extension arm is clamped to the post with U-bolts, and two braces secure the extension arm to the backboard. Finally, the rim is direct mounted to the extension arm, to prevent damage if someone hangs on the rim.

The Sport Select comes with a 36" x 60" clear acrylic backboard of 1/2" thickness. The rugged base post and extension arm are powder coated, to protect against the weather.

Sport III

The Sport III offers the same durability as the Sport Select. It comes with a slightly smaller acrylic backboard (36" x 48", 1/2" thick).

The Sport II has a 36" x 48" acrylic backboard of 3/8" thickness. Its rim is recreational strength, not heavy duty.
