These sturd 6-foot plastic border timbers have
a variety of uses, but they're most commonly used as border timbers around
the perimeter of a playground,
providing a retaining barrier for loose-fill resilient surfacing and add a
finished edge to the play area. Our 5 Certified Playground Safety Inspectors (CPSIs) have installed these plastic timbers in dozens of playgrounds, but many of our competitors have never even handled a timber. The timbers easy to install, even in your backyard. They also make great sandboxes, dirt boxes, landscape
borders and flower boxes. Each 6-foot timber comes with two spikes.

6-Foot Plastic Timber (12" high)
Available in black and green

Plastic timbers are
splinter free, unlike wood,
and they require no expertise or special tools
to do a professional looking job. They're
also easy to move and re-install. Also, plastic timbers contain playground surfacing (like woodchips) in a defined area. Finally, they create a visually pleasing border to any area.

Our plastic timbers are made from hollow polyethylene, with molded-in ribs
for strength. That makes them incredibly durable. The black plastic timbers are all made from 100% recycled plastic. Our company's Certified Playground Safety Inspectors have installed these timbers on dozens of playgrounds.
