Permanent sand tables from SandLock bring sturdy sand fun to your play area. They'll withstand intense sand play for years. MATERIALS
The permanent sand tables are made from commercial grade solid plastic (HDPE) with UV stabilizers. Each plank is sturdy yet completely smooth. There are no splinters, and no rusting. The posts and support brackets are powder coated, providing a rust resistant protection to maintain quality appearance for many years.

DIMENSIONS
One size of permanent sand table is available: 32" x 32". Choose the height you want (we generally recommend 20" high for toddlers, or 24" high for youth. This model is great for special needs kids, because its design is ADA-friendly for wheelchairs (assuming that you choose a sufficient height). The frames measure 5/8", and the bottom panel measures 3/8".

DESIGN
You'll be impressed by the sand tables' clean lines and solid construction. The panels have slots cut into them. They slide together easily, overlapping and locking together. The design is child-friendly and fool-proof! The table comes with a built-in drainage system that removes the moisture from the sand and sends it to the ground, where it belongs.

OPTIONAL SAND TABLE COVERS
The optional covers for our sand tables are made from Coverlight, a tough, vinyl-coated polyester that's used for many industrial/commercial applications. It's strong, lightweight, and resistant to both tears and water. Each sand table cover has a 5/16" shock cord sewn into the inside of each corner. When playtime is over, you simply pull the cover over the top of the sand table and and loop the shock cord under each corner of the sand table. Price: $53.99.

SAND QUANTITIES
For these sand tables, we recommend approximately 4" - 5" of sand. This equals two to three 50 lb. bags of sand.
